Our philosphy is to breed strong boned, deep barrelled hill country sheep with high production, efficiency and structural soundness. Alongside the recorded Romdale and Texel ewes we also test our genetics over 4000 commercial Romdale ewes Springvale. All recorded Romdale & Texel ewes are 100% unshephered, are electronically tagged and DNA recorded.

We believe the Romdale we have stabilised has the perfect blend of fertility, foraging, survivability and mothering abilty in their genetic package suited to our harsh hill country environment at Springvale. We strive to continually challenge these genetics competing alongside the angus cattle on native undeveloped pasture.
